PHARMANIAGA BUYS KOTA KINABALU INDUSTRIAL FACILITY FOR RM26 MILLION TO BOOST SABAH DISTRIBUTION CAPACITY
Kuala Lumpur, 4 December 2025 – Pharmaniaga Bhd has acquired an industrial facility in Kota Kinabalu for RM26 million (approximately €5,35 million) to strengthen its logistics and distribution capabilities, particularly in Sabah, as part of its expansion strategy under a concession agreement with the Ministry of Health. The single-storey factory with an attached two-storey office sits on two acres within the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park and was purchased via Pharmaniaga’s wholly owned subsidiary, Pharmaniaga Logistics Sdn Bhd, from Yang Guang Furniture (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd. This marks the group’s fourth recent acquisition, following purchases in Penang, Terengganu, and Sarawak totalling over RM90 million (approximately €18,53 million), all funded through its recently completed RM520 million (approximately €107,11 million) capital reduction, rights issue, and RM223.7 million (approximately €46,07 million) private placement.
