RI-IRAQ STRENGTHEN STRATEGIC OIL AND GAS PARTNERSHIP
Indonesia’s Vice Minister of ESDM met with Iraqi officials to strengthen upstream oil and gas cooperation. The discussion focused on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate trade, investment, and technology transfer. A key priority is expanding PT Pertamina International EP’s (PIEP) role from its current 20% stake in Iraqi fields to managing new exploration through joint ventures. This partnership aims to boost Iraq’s energy sector while securing Indonesia’s energy self-sufficiency and fostering ties between these two Muslim-majority nations.Source: https://industri.kontan.co.id/news/kejar-swasembada-energi-pemerintah-jajaki-proyek-migas-di-irak (ICE GIACARTA)
