Food Corporation begins direct procurement of new harvest grain, oilseedsNational Company Food Contract Corporation has announced the start of direct procurement of grain and oilseed crops for the 2025 harvest.According to a statement posted on the Food Contract Corporation website, this year the list of crops being purchased has been expanded: in addition to wheat and barley, the national operator is accepting sunflower, oilseed flax, and buckwheat.At the same time, one agricultural producer may supply the Food Contract Corporation with a total of no more than 3,000 tonnes of grain across all crops.Preliminary prices under the direct procurement program, including VAT, are: Class 3 wheat (gluten 27%+) - 115,000 tenge; Class 3 wheat (gluten 25%+) - 94,000-96,000 tenge; Class 3 wheat (gluten 23%+) - 90,000- 92,000 tenge; Class 4 wheat (18%+ gluten) - 78,000 tenge;Class 4 wheat (20%+ gluten) - 80,000 tenge; Class 5 wheat (18%+ gluten) - 70,000 tenge; Class 2 barley (630 g/l natural weight) - 78,000 tenge; Sunflower (40% oil content) - 205,000 tenge; Sunflower (45% oil content) - 210,000 tenge; Flaxseed - 215,000 tenge; Buckwheat - 90,000 tenge per tonne.Only those farmers and agricultural enterprises that do not have current or extended obligations under all financing instruments of the national operator and its affiliates are eligible to participate in the program.Food Contract Corporation is part of the structure of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
