INDONESIA TO LAUNCH FIRST DOMESTIC BLOOD PLASMA FRACTIONATION PLANT BY 2026
The Association of Indonesian Private Hospitals (ARSSI) welcomes Indonesia’s first blood plasma fractionation plant, a strategic partnership between SK Plasma and INA. Set to operate by December 2026, the facility aims to end the country’s 100% reliance on imported plasma-derived medicinal products (PDMP) like albumin and immunoglobulin. This move strengthens national pharmaceutical independence, reduces supply chain risks, and ensures stable medicine availability for emergency and chronic cases, potentially lowering healthcare costs and BPJS claim burdens across Indonesia.Source: https://ekonomi.bisnis.com/read/20251222/257/1938733/pabrik-plasma-pertama-ri-diharapkan-akhiri-krisis-pasokan-obat-derivat-di-rs (ICE GIACARTA)
