SINGAPORE RETAIL SALES UP 6.3% IN NOVEMBER

[SINGAPORE] The Republic’s retail sales grew 6.3 per cent year on year last November, extending the downwardly revised 4.4 per cent growth recorded in October, data from the Singapore Department of Statistics showed on Monday (Jan 5). Most retail sectors recorded year-on-year growth in sales in November 2025. The increase was led by recreational goods; watches and jewellery, as well as cosmetics, toiletries and medical Goods. November’s performance surpassed the expectations of private-sector economists, who had forecasted a median 4.9 per cent growth in a Bloomberg poll.   https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/singapore/economy-policy/singapore-retail-sales-6-3-november (ICE SINGAPORE)
