Kuala Lumpur, 9 December 2025 – The Prime Minister’s Department has received a hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirai fuel cell electric vehicle from the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry, marking a key step in advancing Malaysia’s green mobility and low-carbon agenda. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the initiative reflects strong confidence from local and international partners in Malaysia’s policies, particularly in developing a national hydrogen ecosystem, while also promoting cross-border collaboration and automotive innovation in Southeast Asia.
