29 December 2025 – KPJ Healthcare Bhd, Malaysia’s largest private healthcare provider, has partnered with GSPARX Sdn Bhd, a Tenaga Nasional subsidiary, to implement large-scale rooftop solar across its hospitals, positioning it as the leading private healthcare provider in solar capacity by 2026. Starting with five pilot sites in 2023, the project has expanded to 26 additional hospitals nationwide, targeting a total installed capacity of 5.85MWp. Operating under a zero-capex model, GSPARX covers installation and maintenance costs, allowing KPJ to focus on patient care while achieving energy cost savings and reducing carbon emissions by nearly 5,000 metric tonnes annually.
