A preliminary summary of 2025 on the Polish new passenger car market shows that the registration rate amounts to 593,000 cars. This is 7.5 percent more than in the previous year. "From the perspective of statistics and rankings, it was an extremely boring year. The leaders emerged as early as January and maintained their position until the end of the year. Toyota remains the undisputed leader, dominating the new passenger car market. Škoda took second place and Volkswagen third," says Wojciech Drzewiecki, president of the Samar Automotive Market Research Institute. Contrary to at least the previous ten years and contrary to the opinions of importers, the prices of new cars stabilised. According to Wojciech Drzewiecki, it mainly resulted from the fact that Chinese manufacturers offered very competitively priced models in the most popular market segments. (ICE VARSAVIA)
