On Wednesday, at the Ministry’s headquarters, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Labor Abdul Halim Doujan met with Advisor to the President of Italy’s Lombardy Region, to discuss avenues of cooperation aimed at opening employment opportunities for Jordanian nurses in Italy. In the presence of Abdullah Haimour, a member of the Jordanian Nurses Association, Doujan emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to promoting Jordanian expertise in regional and international labor markets. He noted that the meeting paves the way for Jordanian nurses to work in Italy’s private sector, adding that technical details will be discussed between the Italian side, the Jordanian Nurses Association, and other relevant stakeholders, under the supervision of the Ministry of Labor.
