Kuala Lumpur, 8 January 2026 – A Kinergy Advancement Bhd-led consortium has formalised an equipment supply agreement for the planned 1.5GW combined cycle gas turbine power plant in Perlis, marking a key milestone for the multi-phase Teknologi Tenaga Perlis Consortium project. The agreement covers the supply of a 9HA.02 gas turbine and an H78 generator for the project’s first phase, with consortium partners including Sirage Holdings and B.Grimm Power. Secured in 2025, the brownfield TTPC site offers existing transmission, gas and water infrastructure, enabling faster development and supporting Malaysia’s energy transition.
