UKRAINE’S INFLATION SLOWS TO 0.2% IN DECEMBER, ANNUAL RATE AT 8%.

Consumer price inflation in Ukraine stood at 0.2% month-on-month in December 2025 and 8.0% year-on-year, according to the State Statistics Service. Core inflation rose by 0.1% compared to November and also reached 8.0% year-on-year.Food and non-alcoholic beverage prices were broadly unchanged overall, though notable increases were recorded for eggs, grain products, fish and fish products, bread, sunflower oil, vegetables, beef, and milk. At the same time, prices declined for fruits, sugar, poultry, pork, rice, fermented dairy products, soft drinks, and butter.Clothing and footwear prices fell by 3.9%, driven by lower prices for both footwear and apparel.
