INDONESIA AND SOUTH KOREA LAUNCH $8 MILLION EV METROLOGY PROJECT
The Indonesian Ministry of Trade and KOICA have launched an $8 million project to develop a comprehensive electric vehicle (EV) metrology system by 2029. This partnership with South Korea aims to strengthen legal metrology for EV charging equipment (EVSE), ensuring measurement accuracy and consumer protection. Key activities include establishing testing laboratories, human resource training, and regulatory support. As charging stations are projected to double by 2026, this initiative bridges the gap between infrastructure growth and technical oversight.Source: https://industri.kontan.co.id/news/kemendag-gandeng-korsel-luncurkan-proyek-metrologi-pengisi-daya-ev-senilai-us-8-juta (ICE GIACARTA)
