World Bank sees Kazakhstan's 2026 GDP growth at 4.5%, keeps forecast steadyThe World Bank (WB) forecasts Kazakhstan's GDP to grow 4.5% in 2026 and 3.9% in 2027, maintaining its October 2025 projections, according to the bank's January Global Economic Prospects report.The bank also estimated 2025 growth at 5.5%, below the 6.5% reported by Kazakhstan’s national economy ministry, which cited strong industrial, transport, construction and trade activity. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev earlier stated that the economy grew by over 6% in 2025, with GDP surpassing $300 billion.The UN’s World Economic Situation and Prospects 2026 report has forecast 4.6% growth for the country in 2026.Kazakhstan's economy grew 4.8% in 2024.
