Fixed capital investment in Kazakhstan grew by 13% in 2025Fixed capital investment in Kazakhstan reached 22.731 trillion tenge, marking a 13% increase compared to the same period in 2024, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms reported.Industrial production continued to attract the largest share of investment, accounting for 39.8% of the total including 14.1% in the mineral resource sector and 12.3% in manufacturing. Real estate transactions made up 18% of investments, transportation and warehousing 17.8%, education 5.6%, and agriculture, forestry, and fisheries 5.1%.Spending on construction and major repairs of buildings and structures rose 12.7% year-on-year.Equity capital of business entities remained the main source of investment, totaling 13.966 trillion tenge, while large enterprises contributed 7.075 trillion tenge.State budget funds accounted for 21.9% of the total investment, bank loans 4.5%, and other borrowed funds 12.1%, including 3.4% from non-residents.
