THE WORLD BANK DISBURSES $111 MILLION TO JORDAN’S SOCIAL PROTECTION PROGRAM
The World Bank announced it has disbursed $111 million to Jordan’s Resilient and Sustainable Social Protection program, out of a total financing package of $400 million—representing a disbursement rate of 27.75%. According to the program’s evaluation report, implementation has had a satisfactory start and is beginning to deliver measurable results in improving beneficiary outcomes and strengthening institutional systems. Overall progress toward implementation and the achievement of the program’s development objectives has been rated as satisfactory. (ICE AMMAN)
