Air Astana expects delivery of 4 long-haul Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft in Q4, 2026The delivery of four long-haul Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft is expected in the fourth quarter of this year, stated Yerbolat Baisalykov, Senior Vice President of Air Astana."We expect the arrival of four new aircraft by the end of the year, of which two are directly from Airbus and two are from Boeing. These are the Dreamliner aircraft we have long been waiting for. Delivery of these aircraft is expected in the fourth quarter," Baisalykov said on Friday at a meeting of the Public Chamber under the Majilis of the Parliament.In November of last year, Air Astana announced the signing of a contract with Boeing Co. for the supply of up to 15 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.Air Astana, Kazakhstan's largest airline, conducted an IPO in early 2024, during which the company and its shareholders raised $370 million, while the entire company was valued at $847 million.
