DMCC and the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) have launched pilot projects to tokenise gold and diamonds, creating a regulated framework for trading physical commodities on blockchain platforms. The initiative combines DMCC's 26,000-member commodities network and Crypto Center (700+ Web3 firms) with VARA's regulatory oversight. Pilot programs will assess technical, regulatory, and investor protection requirements while educating institutions and the public.
