CROATIA: INDUSTRIAL TURNOVER UP 1.6% Y-O-Y IN NOVEMBER DESPITE MONTHLY DECLINE
According to the State Bureau of Statistics (DZS) data released on Tuesday 27 January, total industrial turnover in November 2025 rose by 1.6% year on year but fell by 1.2% compared with October, with strong growth on the domestic market and a notable decline on the non-domestic market. Sales increased for most main industrial groupings, led by intermediate and consumer goods, while energy sales declined sharply year on year despite a monthly increase.The DZS data showed that industrial turnover in November 2025 increased by 1.6% year on year but declined by 1.2% compared with October.Total calendar-adjusted industrial turnover in November 2025, compared with November 2024, increased by 6.5% on the domestic market, while on the non-domestic market it fell by 6.9%. Compared with October last year, in November total seasonally and calendar-adjusted industrial turnover on the domestic market increased by 0.2%, while on the non-domestic market it fell by 6.2%.According to main industrial groupings, in November 2025 compared with November 2024, total sales of intermediate goods increased by 4.5%, non-durable consumer goods by 2%, durable consumer goods by 0.6%, and capital goods by 0.6%. At the same time, total energy sales fell by 14.6%.The DZS data also show that compared with October, in November 2025 total sales of intermediate goods were lower by 5.9%, non-durable consumer goods by 5.7%, and durable consumer goods by 3.5%.
