DANANTARA TARGETS US$14BN INVESTMENT DEPLOYMENT BY 2026, EYES SECOND PATRIOT bond
Speaking on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Danantara Chief Investment Officer Pandu Sjahrir said Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund plans to deploy up to US$14 billion in investments in 2026, funded mainly by dividends from portfolio companies, up from about US$8 billion last year. To support financing needs, Danantara is also preparing a second tranche of Patriot bonds in the coming one to two months, subject to investor demand. Launched in February 2025 with initial capital of US$20 billion, Danantara will focus over the next 12–24 months on renewable energy, digital infrastructure, healthcare, and food security, with roughly 50% of investments allocated to domestic public markets, while exploring opportunities across Asia and Europe.Source: https://www.idnfinancials.com/news/60764/danantara-indonesia-ready-to-invest-up-to-us14-billion-by-2026 (ICE GIACARTA)
