The Ministry of Industry has launched a three-phase roadmap (2023–2030+) to establish Indonesia as a global Electric Vehicle (EV) hub. Key to this plan is the mandatory Local Content Requirement (TKDN), set to reach 60% by 2027 and 80% by 2030. The strategy integrates upstream mineral processing, battery production, and downstream infrastructure like charging stations.
