DUBAI'S LANDMARK AI LITERACY INITIATIVE FOR PRIVATE SCHOOLS

In a major step toward future-proofing its education system, Dubai has launched a multi-year partnership between the  DP World Foundation, KHDA, and MIT RAISE to scale AI literacy across private schools through February 2030 . This initiative will impact approximately 80,500 students in Grades 6–8 and 3,600 teachers , embedding responsible AI modules directly into core subjects such as Math, Science, and Arabic rather than treating it as a standalone topic. Aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and Education 33 vision, the program also includes a high-school "AI Enrichment" component adapted from MIT's Future Builders model, offering intensive hybrid mentorship and entrepreneurial pitching. By providing teachers with a curated portal of age-appropriate AI tools and professional training, Dubai aims to cultivate a generation that can critically evaluate and responsibly utilize emerging technologies in a fast-evolving global economy.              (ICE DUBAI)
