SHANXI’S UNCONVENTIONAL GAS OUTPUT HIT 2025 RECORD HIGH
Shanxi's unconventional natural gas output hit 18.23 billion cubic meters in 2025 (8.9% year-on-year rise). Its total projected resources are around 20 trillion cubic meters (8% of the national total). During the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025), cumulative production is set to reach 74.9 billion cubic meters, a 155% jump from the 13th Five-Year period (2015-2020). (ICE PECHINO)
