Dubai welcomed a record 19.59 million international overnight visitors in 2025 , marking a 5 per cent year-on-year increase and its third consecutive year of record-breaking tourism growth, according to the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. Momentum peaked in December with 2.04 million visitors in a single month , the highest ever, driven by global partnerships, major events and sustained investment in hospitality, infrastructure and destination marketing under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 . Western Europe remained the largest source market, while GCC, MENA, South Asia and CIS regions contributed strongly. The hotel sector also delivered robust performance, with 80.7 per cent occupancy , 44.85 million occupied room nights , rising room rates and new luxury hotel openings, reinforcing tourism's role as a key driver of economic diversification, foreign investment and Dubai's position as one of the world's leading global destinations.        (ICE DUBAI)
