Turkiye boosts oil imports from Kazakhstan by 28% in 2025, Russia cuts supplies by 10%Turkiye increased crude oil imports from Kazakhstan by 27.9% in 2025 to 3.77 million tonnes, according to data from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).Turkiye’s total crude oil imports rose 6.4% year-on-year to 31.94 million tonnes, equivalent to about 640,000 barrels per day.Imports from Iraq increased 6.7% to 5.05 million tonnes, while supplies from Saudi Arabia jumped 40% to 2.24 million tonnes. Shipments from Nigeria nearly doubled to 1.64 million tonnes.Russia remained Turkiye’s largest crude supplier despite cutting exports by 10% to 15.23 million tonnes.Turkiye’s diesel imports in 2025 totaled 13.66 million tonnes, unchanged from a year earlier. Russia also remained the largest diesel supplier, increasing shipments by 2.3% to 11.59 million tonnes. Egypt boosted diesel exports to Turkiye by 57.3% to 748,000 tonnes, while India reduced supplies by 3.2% to 562,000 tonnes. (ICE ALMATY)
