A joint Lebanese-Syrian meeting held at the Masnaa border customs center resulted in the adoption of a temporary seven-day transitional mechanism to regulate truck movement between the two countries, following directives aimed at addressing recent disruptions and ensuring smoother land transport flows. The agreement provides for the designation of a unified unloading and reloading point during the trial period on a reciprocal basis, while exempting tanker shipments, bulk cement, raw cement materials, meat, and pharmaceuticals.
