ENERGY INDEPENDENCE SET TO IMPROVE
A CNPC Economic and Technology Research Institute report on Feb 3 showed China's 2025 oil and gas output hit 420 million tons of oil equivalent, up 30% from 2018. Its energy self-sufficiency rate was 84.6%. Overseas equity production rose 2.68% to 196 million tons. (ICE PECHINO)
