Kazakhstan harvested 25.9 mln tonnes of grain in clean weight in 2025 – Agriculture MinistryKazakhstan collected 25.9 million tonnes of grain in weight after processing in 2025, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Azat Sultanov said."As much as 25.9 million tonnes of grain was threshed in clean weight, including 19.3 million tonnes of wheat," Sultanov said at a Thursday meeting of the Agriculture Ministry.He also noted that there was a record harvest of oilseeds last year or 4.9 million tonnes and legumes – 1 million tonnes.Some 2.8 million tonnes of potatoes and 3.7 million tonnes of vegetables were harvested. The gross cotton harvest reached 466,000 tonnes, the highest figure in 18 years."In the twelve months of 2025, the agricultural sector demonstrated a steady growth in gross output. Crop production increased by 7.8%, livestock production by 3.3%," the deputy minister said.In 2025, Kazakhstan saw a 2% increase in grain harvest in net weight to 27 million tonnes, with yield reaching 1.7 tonnes per hectare.
