DANANTARA LAUNCHES $7 BILLION DOWNSTREAMING PROJECTS ACROSS 13 LOCATIONS
BPI Danantara Indonesia has launched six major downstreaming projects across 13 locations, totaling a $7 billion investment. This Phase I initiative spans energy, food, and minerals to bolster national economic transformation under President Prabowo Subianto’s administration. A key highlight is the bauxite-alumina-aluminum facility in Mempawah, West Kalimantan, developed with INALUM and ANTAM. These projects aim to increase raw material value by up to 70 times and significantly reduce import dependency. Once fully operational, the aluminum smelter is projected to boost foreign exchange reserves by 394%, from IDR 11 trillion to IDR 52 trillion annually.Source: https://duniaindustri.com/danantara-bangun-6-proyek-hilirisasi-us-7-miliar-di-13-lokasi-secara-serentak/ (ICE GIACARTA)
