The Chairman of the General Authority for Investment Promotion in Lebanon (IDAL) met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates to discuss activating economic and investment diplomacy, with senior officials in attendance. Talks focused on strengthening IDAL’s international presence and promoting its services to investors through enhanced coordination with Lebanese embassies and diaspora associations. Emphasis was placed on leveraging the expertise and networks of the Lebanese diaspora to support investment, entrepreneurship, and business initiatives. The meeting also addressed IDAL’s upcoming action plan, including the development of targeted investment programs and the modernization of its one-stopshop mechanism through comprehensive automation of licensing procedures, aimed at facilitating projects, creating employment opportunities, and supporting economic activity.   (ICE BEIRUT)
