Kuala Lumpur, 5 March 2026 – Sunview Group Bhd’s wholly owned unit, Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM289.71 million (approximately EUR 60.86 million) EPCC contract from Malakoff Evergreen Sdn Bhd to develop a solar photovoltaic power plant in Bintulu, Sarawak. Malakoff Evergreen is 70%-owned by Tuah Utama Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Malakoff Corp Bhd, and focuses on developing solar photovoltaic and other renewable energy projects in Sarawak. Sunview expects the project to contribute positively to its future earnings over the contract term. The contract comes as the group moves to diversify beyond its EPCC business into solar power generation, including plans to acquire two 50MW large-scale solar plants that could make up over 25% of group profit before tax by FY2026.
