REVISED STANDARDS FOR ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE POWER BATTERIES COVER MORE SCENARIOS
China led the revision of the 2026 international safety standard for electric motorcycle lithium-ion batteries. The standard features 13 safety tests, strengthens low-temperature charging and overcurrent protection, aligns with EV battery requirements, and improves global interoperability and industry safety.
