INDONESIA-JAPAN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP: DRIVING AUTOMOTIVE AND GREEN ENERGY
Indonesia and Japan are strengthening their strategic partnership to advance automotive industries, energy transition, and global supply chains. Minister Airlangga Hartarto highlighted Japan’s pivotal role in making Indonesia an automotive export hub for 70 countries. Future collaboration will focus on green fuels, including B40 biodiesel and E20 implementation by 2028. Additionally, both nations are advancing renewable energy projects like geothermal and waste-to-energy under the AZEC framework.
