Gas supplies to Jordan’s industrial sector rely on three main sources, which have not been equally affected by the current regional developments, President of the Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) Fathi Jaghbir said. He said the first source is imported gas delivered through the regional network, whose supplies have recently been disrupted due to regional supply chain disturbances. The disruption has temporarily halted deliveries to some factories connected to the network, prompting them to switch to alternatives such as diesel, heavy fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to maintain production, he added.
