Kazakhstan targets 20.5% increase in food production for 2026Kazakhstan's government announced plans Friday to increase food production by 20.5% this year, targeting 4.7 trillion tenge in output as the country pushes to expand its agricultural processing capacity."Food production reached 3.9 trillion tenge in 2025, up from 3.3 trillion tenge the previous year," the Agriculture Ministry said.In the first two months of 2026, the country produced 665 billion in food products.The beverage sector also saw growth, with production reaching 175.4 billion in January and February.
