Kazpost, Kaspi.kz testing pilot project to deliver goods from Turkish Hepsiburada marketplace to KazakhstanA joint project by Kazakh fintech holding Kaspi.kz, its controlled Turkish marketplace Hepsiburada, and Kazpost JSC for the sale of Turkish goods in Kazakhstan is planned to be launched in the second half of the year, according to Kazpost CEO Bektas Zhakeyev’s theses.The goods from the Turkish marketplace Hepsiburada will be sold in Kazakhstan through the Kaspi.kz marketplace. The joint project is planned to be implemented via Kazpost project Cargo2Mail channel."Currently, the project is at the pilot stage and is being tested. The launch is planned for the second half of this year. According to Kaspi.kz's estimates, the planned capacity of the project could be up to 100 tonnres of goods per month. With an average weight of one parcel of about 0.6 kg, this amounts to approximately 60,000 parcels per month," the theses state.The Kaspi.kz holding combines services for online payments and P2P transfers, personal finance management, and online shopping. The company operates on three platforms: payments, marketplace, and fintech. The group includes Kaspi Magazin LLP, Kaspi Bank, Kaspi Pay LLP, and Kaspi Travel LLP.As of January 1, 2026, the company's largest shareholders are Baring Funds (22.15%), Mikheil Lomtadze (21.53%), and Vyacheslav Kim (19.78%).In early 2025, Kaspi.kz acquired a controlling stake (65.41%) in the Turkish e-commerce platform Hepsiburada.Hepsiburada is one of the largest Turkish e-commerce platforms, offering an assortment of 264 million goods across more than 30 categories.Kazpost JSC is the national postal operator of Kazakhstan, managed by Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna.
