VietJet Air to launch Hanoi–Almaty–Prague flights from July 11Vietnamese low-cost carrier VietJet Air plans to launch a new route connecting Hanoi, Almaty and Prague starting July 11, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport said on Thursday.Flights will operate twice weekly using Airbus A330 aircraft, the ministry said in a statement.The route will be launched under Kazakhstan’s open skies regime, it said.“The launch of this route will strengthen Kazakhstan’s position as a transit bridge between Asia and Europe and contribute to the further development of its international route network,” the ministry said.The new service is expected to boost tourism, business and people-to-people ties, while enhancing cooperation between Kazakhstan, Vietnam and Czechia, the ministry added.
