Halyk Bank 2025 net profit rises 14.9% to 1.06 trillion tenge under IFRSHalyk Bank, Kazakhstan's largest lender by assets, said its 2025 net profit rose 14.9% to 1.058 trillion tenge, according to consolidated financial results released Thursday.The bank's interest income increased 24.1% to 2.695 trillion tenge.Total assets grew 12.7% to 20.908 trillion tenge during the reporting period, while liabilities rose 12.5% to 17.408 trillion tenge.The gross loan portfolio expanded 13.9% to 13.7 trillion tenge, with the net loan portfolio up 14.3% at 13 trillion tenge.Business deposits increased 9.9% to 6.362 trillion tenge, while retail deposits grew 10.8% to 7.976 trillion tenge.The bank's shareholder equity rose 14.1% to 3.5 trillion tenge.Halyk Bank is controlled by Dinara Kulibayeva, daughter of Kazakhstan's first president, and her husband Timur Kulibayev through holding company Almex JSC, which owns a 50.25% stake. The Bank of New York serves as nominal holder with a 28.29% stake. The bank's shares trade on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, with global depositary receipts listed on the London Stock Exchange and the Astana International Exchange. (ICE ALMATY)
