INDONESIA EYES RUSSIAN OIL TO SECURE SUPPLY AMID MIDDLE EAST TENSIONS
As Indonesia moves to secure domestic energy supply and curb price volatility amid escalating Middle East tensions, Energy Minister Bahlil said on Tuesday (17/3) that the country is exploring oil supply cooperation with multiple partners, including Russia. The government is also preparing contingency policies and diversifying imports to reduce reliance on the Strait of Hormuz. At the same time, it continues to subsidise fuel and maintain stable supplies to support economic stability, energy security, and fiscal resilience during global uncertainty.Source: https://jakartaglobe.id/business/indonesia-eyes-russia-oil-to-secure-supply-amid-middle-east-tensions (ICE GIACARTA)
