CHINA'S NATURAL GAS IMPORT DEPENDENCE HIT A RECORD LOW OF 40%
In 2025, China’s natural gas output hit 262.06 bcm, up 6.3%, 9th straight year of more than 10 billion cubic meters (BCM) growth, cutting import dependence to a 14th Five-Year Plan low. Imports fell 2.8% to 176.46 bcm, with pipeline gas up 8.0% and liquefied natural gas (LNG) down 10.6%. (ICE PECHINO)
