Syrian Economy and Industry Minister Nidal al-Shaar met Syrian business leaders from Germany and neighboring countries in Berlin to discuss investment opportunities in Syria during President Ahmad al-Sharaa’s visit to Germany.  According to a statement posted Monday by the Ministry of Economy and Industry on its Telegram channel, the meeting reviewed key economic projects across various sectors and explored ways to strengthen partnerships between investors and both the public and private sectors.  Al-Shaar stressed the importance of coordinating efforts to expand Syrian investments abroad in a way that supports the national economy, adding that the ministry continues to encourage investment and strengthen cooperation with Syrian communities around the world.  Earlier Monday, al-Shaar also participated in the Syrian-German Business Forum held in Berlin, where he highlighted the long history of economic cooperation and relations between Syria and Germany.
