Syria’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research signed a three-year agreement with the Syrian-European Economic Council on Wednesday to strengthen cooperation in academic and professional fields.  The agreement aims to align university outputs with labor market needs and support the national economy, according to the ministry.  The two sides will cooperate on joint economic studies and consultations, facilitate partnerships, and make use of the council’s expertise and resources.
