The Indonesian Data Centre Provider Organisation (IDPRO) reported significant growth in Indonesia's data centre industry, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15-20%. This is notably higher than growth rates in other countries, according to IDPRO's head, Hendra Kusuma, during an interview on Wednesday (1/4). He explained that the growth is driven by the expansion of hyperscale companies, the rising number of internet users, the growth of the digital economy, and increasing demand for infrastructure supporting computing, cloud services, data processing, and AI.
