Under the patronage of President Ahmad al-Sharaa, the Ministry of Tourism has launched “The Beaumont” project in cooperation with Izdihar Holdings, in the presence of officials, investors, and representatives of regional and international institutions and companies.  “The Beaumont” is a comprehensive residential, commercial, and leisure development project located along the Barada River, offering panoramic views of Damascus’ landmarks and positioned to attract investors and international companies.Officials said that the project includes two main towers — residential and hotel — along with a commercial center, office spaces, and a new building for the Ministry of Tourism.  The project is being developed over an area of 77,000 square meters and is expected to generate between 1,500 and 2,500 direct jobs, as well as 3,500 indirect job opportunities, according to the Tourism Ministry.  Tourism Minister Mazen al-Salhani said during the project launch ceremony: “We gather today in the heart of Damascus to witness the launch of a new project that represents the first of a series of strategic tourism projects.”  The minister added that the project will serve as a central hub for an integrated tourism zone, linking the capital’s center with the Qasioun Journey project, which is set to be announced soon.
