The Indonesian Footwear Association (Aprisindo), together with ECV International (a leading organizer and contractor of high-end international business events in Asia), will host the 2026 Indonesia Footwear Summit on April 13–15, 2026, in Kemayoran, Jakarta. The event will convene global brand representatives, manufacturers, material and technology suppliers, consultants, investors, and supply‑chain players to strengthen Indonesia’s role as a sourcing hub and major production center in the global footwear industry. As part of the program, participants will also visit PT Aggiomultimex International Group’s production facilities to gain a direct understanding of Indonesia’s manufacturing ecosystem. Aprisindo highlighted the strong growth of Indonesia’s footwear exports, which reached US$7.98 billion in 2025, up 9.54% from 2024 and more than 65% growth since 2020, placing Indonesia as the world’s third‑largest footwear exporter with 601 million pairs shipped. The United States remains the top market, followed by the EU and China. According to Aprisindo, global geopolitical shifts—such as changes in U.S. tariff policies—are creating new opportunities for Indonesia to strengthen its position in global supply chains.
