ULTRAVIOLETTE EXPANDS TO 6 NEW EUROPEAN MARKETS

Ultraviolette has announced its entry into six Central and Eastern European markets through a strategic partnership with Elektrorider. The alliance will see Elektrorider act as the official importer and distributor across Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.Expanding footprint across Central and Eastern EuropeWith this move, Ultraviolette strengthens its presence across 19 European countries, marking a significant step in its international growth strategy. The company plans to introduce its performance electric motorcycles, including the F77 MACH 2 and F77 SuperStreet, across these new markets.The partnership builds on Elektrorider’s existing retail network in electric two-wheelers, including motorcycles, scooters and e-bikes. This is expected to support market entry and distribution, while enabling Ultraviolette to tap into established customer channels in the region.According to Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, the collaboration aligns with the company’s focus on expanding beyond India into global markets with mature motorcycling ecosystems. He noted that the company aims to bring its technology-led electric motorcycles to a wider international audience.Product rollout and market positioningThe initial rollout will centre on Ultraviolette’s F77 platform, which is positioned in the performance electric motorcycle segment. The company aims to address demand in markets where electric mobility adoption is gradually increasing, supported by regulatory frameworks and infrastructure development.Elektrorider’s regional experience and understanding of consumer preferences are expected to play a role in shaping Ultraviolette’s market approach. The distributor highlighted its focus on combining data-driven insights with on-ground experience to support brand expansion in Central and Eastern Europe.The partnership also reflects a broader trend of Indian electric vehicle manufacturers exploring export opportunities as domestic capabilities mature.
