According to a survey by the Institute for Economic Research, 51% of companies plan to invest in their production. At the same time, 10% of businesses expect to increase capital investments compared to 2025, and 73% will continue to invest at the same level. Also, 43% of respondents believe that now is a more or less favorable time for investment, particularly in equipment upgrades. The share of such assessments has increased slightly compared to previous surveys. In 2025, 59% of surveyed companies made investments, while in 2023-2024 the figure was only 45%.Among segments, the share is 82% for large enterprises, 55% for small businesses, and only 26% for microenterprises. Investments were most often reported by representatives from enterprises that are involved in metal production and metalworking (71%), food (69%), and the chemical (68%) industries.
