Kazakhstan nearly doubles oil exports to Germany in Q1 to 730,000 tonnes – KazTransOilKazakhstan’s National Company KazTransOil delivered 730,000 tonnes of oil to Germany in January-March 2026, the company said in a statement."Exports of Kazakh oil via the Transneft oil pipeline system, bound for Germany, increased by 353,000 tonnes year-on-year to 730,000 tonnes," says the statement reflecting KazTransOil’s performance in the 1st quarter of 2026.Overall shipments in January–March increased 1.9-fold compared with the same period in 2025.Kazakhstan exported 210,000 tonnes of oil to Germany in February, and 310,000 tonnes in January of this year.KazTransOil transportation department director Islamdaut Akubayev said earlier that the company planned to deliver 210,000 tonnes of oil in March or the same volume as in February.For the full year 2025, Kazakhstan supplied 2.1 million tonnes of oil to Germany, delivered to the Schwedt refinery. Exports are expected to increase to 2.5 million tonnes in 2026.Kazakhstan began shipping oil to Germany in 2023 via Russia's Transneft trunk pipeline system, with deliveries routed to Adamowo-Zastawa, an oil delivery point in Poland near the Belarussian border.KazTransOil JSC, part of National Company KazMunayGas, owns and operates oil pipelines of over 5,200 km in length.
