It also provides for the establishment of production and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) lines in Greece, aiming to meet not only domestic demand but also that of third markets across the broader region. The agreement seeks to increase domestic participation in shipbuilding programs, with a local content rate estimated to exceed 70%. At the same time, it provides for the development of export activity, reinforcing Greece’s position in the global defense shipbuilding market.
