Kazakhstan oil shipments to Turkiye triple in February to 550,000 tonnesOil shipments from Kazakhstan to Turkiye surged threefold in February 2026 compared with the same month last year, reaching 550,000 tonnes, according to data released by Turkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).Exports of Kazakh oil also rose 1.8 times compared with January of this year.The increase in shipments from Kazakhstan came as imports of Russian oil fell 38% in February to 722,000 tonnes — the lowest level since September 2023.Overall, Turkiye imported 2.56 million tonnes of oil in February, up 14% from a year earlier but down 4% from January.Besides Kazakhstan, Turkiye’s oil imports rose from Iraq to 645,000 tonnes and from Guyana to 212,000 tonnes.
