President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport, Omar al-Hosari, held talks on Tuesday with Lebanon’s Ambassador to Syria, Henry Kastoun, on ways to improve air navigation systems and facilitate travel and cargo movement.   Al-Hosari said  the meeting marked a “forward step” toward restoring and developing cooperation in the aviation sector, which both countries view as essential for economic recovery and regional connectivity.  He noted that the discussions fall within a joint vision aimed at building a comprehensive cooperation model in civil aviation based on international best practices, enhancing operational efficiency, and meeting the requirements of the coming phase.  The talks come as part of broader efforts to revitalize economic cooperation between Syria and Lebanon.
